Bayi korban pertama Gunung Merapi

YOGYAKARTA, Indonesia 26 Okt. – Seorang bayi berusia dua bulan menjadi korban pertama Gunung Merapi, manakala 20 lagi cedera apabila gunung itu mula meletus hari ini selepas para saintis memberi amaran tekanan yang semakin meningkat di bawah kubah lahar gunung itu boleh mencetuskan letusan paling berbahaya dalam tempoh beberapa tahun.

Bayi itu yang tidak diketahui jantinanya mati semasa didukung ibunya ketika orang ramai bertempiaran menyelamatkan diri sewaktu gunung itu mula meletus.

Stesen televisyen swasta, Metro TV melaporkan, mayat bayi itu telah dihantar ke hospital berdekatan.

Kebanyakan yang cedera adalah akibat terkena debu panas yang dihamburkan oleh Gunung Merapi, termasuk enam melecur teruk, kata seorang wartawan AP, yang menyaksikan penduduk yang cedera dibawa keluar dari kawasan ini untuk mendapatkan rawatan.

Ketua ahli vulkanologi, Subandriyo berkata, letusan itu berlaku sebelum waktu senja.

Gunung itu sebelum itu telah mengeluarkan bunyi menderam dan asap tebal selama beberapa jam, katanya.

“Berlaku bunyi deraman yang kuat selama beberapa ketika, mungkin selama 15 minit.

“Kemudian kepulan debu panas besar mula dihamburkan ke udara,” kata seorang petani yang masih belum meninggalkan rumahnya di kawasan cerun gunung berapi itu ketika ia meletus.

“Tenaganya meningkat…kami berharap ia akan reda perlahan-lahan.

“Jika tidak kita akan melihat satu letusan yang besar, lebih besar daripada apa yang kita lihat semasa ia meletus beberapa tahun lalu,” kata ahli vulkanologi kerajaan, Surono kepada wartawan.

Kira-kira 11,400 penduduk yang tinggal berhampiran gunung berapi itu telah digesa untuk berpindah.

Namun, kebanyakan mereka yang berbuat demikian hanyalah warga tua dan kanak-kanak, sementara orang dewasa cenderung untuk tidak meninggalkan rumah dan tanaman mereka di kawasan cerun itu. - AP

Ucapan PM adalah tanda semangat perjuangan bangsa yang utuh, semua bangsa termasuk cina india dan lain2 pun ada semangat juang tersendiri iaitu, mempertahan kedaulatan masing2 di negara majmuk tercinta ni, bukan macam parti pembangkang yang terdiri bumiputra sendiri yang tak suka melihat martabat bangsanya dipertahankan, suka menimbulkan konflik, memecahbelah perpaduan, menidakkan kebolehan kepemimpinan yang mendapat suara majoriti, seharusnya sajurus pertandingan sihat di p/raya umum atau p/kecil, semua pihak mesti gembeling tenaga dalam memakmorkan rakyat, jangan asik membantah, peganglah prinsip ini, “Yang Kalah Serah Diri Pada Yang Menang, Yang Menang Pujuk Yang Kalah” agar sama2 berkhidmat demi rakyat barulah negara boleh aman terus; PM cuma nak beritahu seluruh rakyat bahawa beliau akan mempertahankan dirinya demi untuk semua bangsa tidak mengira rupa agar semua rakyat juga sama2 mempertahankan negara ini dari anasir ancaman luar mahupun dalaman, begitulah sucinya jiwa PM, siapapun mahupun; anwar, nik aziz atau karpal menjadi PM, semua pihak wajib sama2 menjunjung kedaulatan negara Malaysia tercinta ni; soalan saya, ‘zalim sangatkah PM kita memerintah? jawablah kepada diri sendiri dengan seikhlas2nya K

      • kenapa kau nak buruk sangka dengan binhalim?
        mana kau tau dia nak mengampu?
        mungkin dia meluahkan dari isi hati dia dengan ikhlas.
        adakah kau rasa tergugat kerana masih ada orang yang menyokong PM.
        sebenarnya bukan binhalim saja yang cintakan perpaduan,
        ramai lagi rakyat di Malaysia ni yang sukakannya tak kira apa bangsa pun.
        cuma ada segelintir manusia saja yang suka kepada perpecahan supaya mereka boleh menangguk di air yang keroh.
        akhirnya ALLAH akan tunjukkan jua kebenarannya dan kini ramai kengkawannya dah menjauhkan diri.
        bukankah itu satu petanda.
