Pesawat Libya terhempas korbankan 105 nyawa

TRIPOLI: Pesawat Libya yang tiba dari Afrika Selatan terhempas hari ini, di lapangan terbang Tripoli, meragut 105 nyawa penumpangnya.

Pihak keselamatan negara itu yang tidak mahu namanya didedahkan, berkata antara yang terbunuh adalah 94 penumpang dan 11 krew pesawat berkenaan.

Masih belum ada petunjuk punca kemalangan itu, di mana ia berlaku ketika pesawat Afriqiyah Airways sedang mendarat selepas penerbangan dari Johannesburg, kira-kira jam 6 pagi tadi (waktu tempatan).

“Kesemua penumpang dan 11 krewnya yang berada di dalam pesawat berkenaan terbunuh,” kata pihak berkuasa di sini, sebentar tadi.

Afriqiyah Airways dalam laman webnya berkata, ia beroperasi dengan menggunakan pesawat Airbus. – AFP

Pesawat Libya terhempas: Kanak-kanak 8 tahun mangsa tunggal terselamat

TRIPOLI: Seorang kanak-kanak lelaki berusia lapan tahun warga Belanda adalah satu-satunya mangsa yang terselamat daripada 104 penumpang Afriqiyah Airways, yang terhempas di lapangan terbang Tripoli di sini, hari ini.

Menteri Pengangkutan Libya, Mohammed Ali Zidan, berkata kanak-kanak itu berada dalam keadaan baik.

Nyawanya tidak terancam. Satu-satunya mangsa yang terselamat dan kini berada di Hospital Tripoli,” kata pada sidang media di sini, sebentar tadi. – AFP

    Melihat serpihan daging2 yang berkecai. Apa yangkah yang telah menyelamatkan kanak2 ini?
