Jerman tempah pertemuan dengan Argentina di suku akhir

JERMAN menewaskan England 4-1 pada perlawanan pusingan kedua Piala Dunia 2010 di Stadium Free State sebentar tadi untuk mara ke peringkat suku akhir.

Jerman mendahului selesa menerusi gol Miroslav Klose pada minit ke-20 dan Lukas Podolski pada minit ke-32. Namun, England merapatkan jurang gol pada minit ke-37 menerusi tandukan Matthew Upson hasil umpanan ketua pasukan, Steven Gerrard.

England sepatutnya menyamakan kedudukan seminit kemudian apabila rembatan Frank Lampard terkena palang gol dan melantun masuk lalu keluar semula tetapi pengadil dari Uruguay, Jorge Larrionda, tidak mengesahkan jaringan itu yang sekaligus bakal mengundang kontroversi.

Ulang tayang televisyen mengesahkan bola jelas sudah pun melepasi garisan gol.

Permainan bertambah sengit pada separuh masa kedua apabila England mengasak bertalu-talu untuk memperoleh gol penyamaan.

Namun ketika England ghairah menyerang, Thomas Mueller mengakhiri impian England apabila menjaringkan dua gol menerusi serangan balas dalam tempoh empat minit iaitu pada minit ke-67 dan ke-70 untuk menjadikan kedudukan 4-1.

Jerman akan bertemu sama ada Argentina  pada peringkat suku akhir Sabtu depan.sokernet
